Please Note: All ssMaritime and other related maritime sites are 100% non-commercial and privately owned, thus ssmaritime is NOT associated with any shipping company or any other organisation! Although the author has worked and been involved in the passenger shipping industry for well over 60 years, but due to his old age and poor health, he was forced to retire. Yet, he has completed well over 1,435 Classic Liners, Passenger-Cargo Liners as well as humble converted C3 converted Migrant Liners, which has transported countless thousands of folk to the new world, as well on vacations’. I trust the features online will continue to provide Classic Liner and Ship enthusiasts both the information they are seeking, but more so provide a great deal of pleasure and relive many happy memories!

Please Note: Postcards, photographs & other images are either from the author’s private collection, unless stated otherwise.

A special thank you to the ssmaritime supporters for their very kind assistance.

Page Two

This feature covering the S.S. Himalaya (3) is a Two Page feature, and Page One page covered her entire history as well as a tour of her interiors and exteriors. Whilst this page, Page Two contains her Deck Plans, First Class and Tourist class and later in the 1960’s she became a Tourist, all One Class ship. Then there are a range of her Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Menus, which is followed by a wide range of Souvenirs & items of Memorabilia.

Finally, I will conclude with a full listing of all her important ‘Specifications & Details’.

Enjoy!

Reuben Goossens.

Please Note:

Thank you so much my dear friend Don Leavitt ofNautiques’ for your kindness providing me with an image

of this plan for this one special occasion, for this is the very last ship I will end up adding to ssmaritime.

Nautiques.net has been online for an amazing 20 years and Don operates the world’s largest dealership

of Ocean Liner and Steam Ship deck plans, brochures, china, silver, furniture, posters, fittings, postcards,

and so much more. Personally I have found his prices to be excellent and the service is simply outstanding!

I have been one of his clients for countless years and the service has been perfection!
